About The VOICE STRONG™ Parkinson's Program.

Our Mission

At The Parkinson’s Voice Clinic, we use a combination of objective measurements and client-reported outcomes to track your progress. This allows us to monitor real changes in your voice, communication, and confidence — ensuring your therapy is effective, personalised, and meaningful.

Our Approach

 VOICE STRONG™ Parkinson’s Program

VOICE STRONG™ is an evidence-informed speech therapy approach designed to support individuals with Parkinson’s disease in improving vocal strength, speech clarity, and functional communication.

This program is grounded in established principles of motor learning, neuroplasticity, and intensive voice therapy, which are widely supported in the speech pathology and neurological rehabilitation literature.

VOICE STRONG™ is delivered by qualified speech pathologists who tailor intervention to each individual’s needs, goals, and clinical presentation. Outcomes are monitored using standardised and functional measures to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care.

VOICE STRONG™ is an independent therapy framework and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or derived from any specific proprietary therapy program.

Where appropriate, clinicians may also incorporate additional evidence-based therapies into treatment plans to optimise outcomes.

How We Measure Your Progress

Outcome measures utilised within the VOICE STRONG™ program include objective acoustic measures (dB SPL), patient-reported outcome measures (Voice Handicap Index, Communicative Participation Item Bank), clinician-rated speech intelligibility, and self-reported communication confidence.

These measures provide a comprehensive assessment of impairment, activity, and participation domains in line with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework, enabling clinically meaningful monitoring of progress over time.
